Hello there,

Welcome to Odyssey Pilates, your dynamic boutique Reformer studio in Kilkenny & Waterford. We’re here to energise, challenge, and empower our incredible community through purposeful movement.

At Odyssey, we’ve built our studio on a foundation of strength, endurance, and progression—helping you move better, feel stronger, and build lasting resilience in both body and mind. For us, this is Pilates with intent: controlled, powerful, and dynamic.

Our philosophy centers on Movement for Life’s Journey—supporting you at every stage with purposeful programming that develops strength, stamina, balance, and confidence. Whether you’re new to Pilates or ready to push your limits, we meet you where you are and help you progress.

In our classes, you can expect high-energy, full-body sessions that combine strength-building resistance work with endurance-focused sequences and uplifting cardio bursts. We keep our groups small so we can give you the attention you need, while still creating a motivating and supportive atmosphere. Every session is designed to challenge you, build muscular endurance, and leave you feeling strong and accomplished.

We use Allegro 2 Balanced Body Reformers because we believe you deserve the best. Their smooth, versatile design allows us to create dynamic, progressive workouts that are both safe and highly effective.

As certified instructors, we’re passionate about guiding you every step of the way. We focus on technique, progression, and consistency—so you can build real strength, improve endurance, and achieve your goals with confidence.

If you’re looking for something more personalised, we offer private sessions (for 1 to 5 people), tailored to your individual needs—whether that’s building strength, increasing stamina, or refining your practice.

At Odyssey Pilates, we’re here to help you feel stronger for life.

Book your class today and start your journey with us—one powerful session at a time.

Meet Our Instructors

  • Jamee

Hi, I’m Jamee-Maree, the owner of Odyssey Pilates and a certified Mat, Reformer, and Pre & Post-Natal Pilates Instructor. I’m originally from Newcastle, Australia, and now proud to call Ireland home.

Before opening the studio and becoming a mum to two beautiful boys, I spent several years working in Human Resources in the corporate world. That experience gave me firsthand insight into how crucial movement and regular exercise are for both mental and physical well-being.

After years of doing CrossFit, I discovered Pilates while searching for a more low-impact way to stay active. Though I’ve always been passionate about health and fitness, nothing has transformed my mind and body the way Pilates has.

To me, Pilates is joyful movement. I love how it challenges strength, coordination, and flexibility while remaining accessible to everyone. The positive changes Pilates brought to my life inspired me to become an instructor so I could help others experience the same benefits.

In my classes, we always begin by mobilising the spine with some flexion and extension—think cat-cow—before transitioning into a dynamic flow with a few cardio bursts to elevate the heart rate. Hope to see you in a class soon!

  • Amelia

Hi, I’m Amelia, the Lead Instructor in our Waterford studio.

I’m a professionally trained dancer turned certified Mat and Reformer Pilates teacher, and movement has always been at the heart of my life. I began with ballet and musical theatre in Ireland, before continuing my training in the UK, where I studied contemporary and commercial dance and earned a First-Class BA (Hons) in Dance Performance.

I lived in London for nine years, performing professionally and running my own dance company, Lumia Dance, for five years. My passion for movement naturally expanded into yoga, and in 2019 I completed my teacher training in Bali in both Vinyasa and Yin, as well as children’s yoga.

Pilates was always part of my dance training, but three years ago I discovered dynamic reformer Pilates and developed a much deeper connection to strength, control, and endurance. My teaching style blends contemporary flow with intentional, precise movement—bringing together strength, fluidity, and focus.

For me, Pilates became more than just a practice—it became therapy. After experiencing a serious health scare with sepsis, it was the method that helped me rebuild my strength, restore my focus, and reconnect with my body.

My classes are empowering, mindful, and expressive—a celebration of movement as medicine. I combine the discipline of dance, the intelligence of Pilates, and the breath of yoga to create a dynamic, strength-focused experience that supports both body and mind.

  • Michelle

Hi, I’m Michelle, the Lead Pilates Instructor for the Kilkenny Studio.

My Pilates journey started in the U.S., where I was working as a nanny and discovered Reformer Pilates. I fell in love instantly! During COVID, I completed my Mat training with Reformation and then went on to earn my Reformer certification through YogaHub in Dublin.

I’m known for my attentive and supportive teaching style, and I strive to make everyone feel encouraged and empowered in my classes. And if you’re up for a challenge, don’t miss my spicy lower body flows—they’re a fan favorite!

  • Etain

    Hi, I’m Etain.

Before I discovered Pilates, I was always doing high impact workouts and pushing my body to its limits. I love the change of pace with Pilates and how my mind and body feel after a workout. I realised how beneficial and accessible Pilates can be when I saw a 70-year-old woman doing a headstand in the first class I ever attended.

This year I decided to take my love of Pilates one step further and started my reformer, mat and barre teacher training at the Reformation Training Academy. It’s been an amazing experience and I can’t wait to start teaching and sharing everything that I have learnt in my own classes.

My classes will be a combination strength, breath, flexibility and fun!

  • Donna

    Hi, I’m Donna.

My Pilates journey began right here at the studio, where I quickly fell in love with the practice. (Fun fact, Donna was one of our very first clients)

Inspired by my experience, I completed my Pilates Teacher Training in Reformer, Mat, and Barre at Reformation in Dublin.

I’m so excited to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with our the Odyssey community. Having experienced firsthand the transformative power of Pilates, I will bring a unique blend of expertise and personal connection to my classes.

My classes will focus on an empathetic and motivating approach, emphasizing alignment, breath, and control.

  • Sophie

    Hi, I’m Sophie.

I’m a qualified Reformer Pilates instructor with a deep passion for movement and helping people feel good in their bodies.

My Pilates journey began while I was living in Australia, where I quickly fell in love with the Reformer and everything it had to offer—strength, control, and a new appreciation for mindful movement. When I returned home, I knew I wanted to turn that passion into a career. I trained with Pilates Performance in Dublin and haven’t looked back since. Now, I get to share what I love most through teaching—supporting others to move with confidence, build strength, and feel more connected to their bodies.

Whether you’re stepping onto the Reformer for the first time or you’re already a Reformer enthusiast, my classes are all about making you feel welcomed, challenged, and supported.

You can find me in our Waterford studio on Monday evenings, Friday mornings and lunchtime, and Saturday mornings… plus the occasional sneaky cover in Kilkenny!
